Wow, day after tomorrow I will be on my way to being a healthier and more energetic Mama(as Austin now says), wife, friend, and family member! I am so excited and cannot wait to begin this new journey.
Lets begin by telling you my Pre-op on Tuesday June 24th, 2008 went wonderful, Surgery is still scheduled for this friday, June 27th at 7:30am, check-in at 6:30am. I signed some paper work and got all Dr.'s paid and hospital paid :) Yahoo! That was the hard part right? Letting go of that much money? LOL All worth it and I know it! I will live so much longer.
Continued pre-op... I had my EKG and Heart Ecko and blood work and they said I was normal... that is great to hear :) LOL. That was it for pre-op.
While I was at Dr. Office for pre-op, I got to meet a lady that had just had her surgery 5 days prior. She was doing wonderful, she said she had a wonderful experience at KGH and loved how she was treated. Her pain was minimal to none. She looked great, really so good. I got to see her scar and it was there, but not as bad as I would have thought. I am really ready for this and I hope all of my family and friends are so supportive of me having this done. I am so extremely excited!! I dont think I have ever wanted anything more, really!!!!
I will say though I am so blessed to have a wonderful husband and wonderful boys! They treat me so good. John treats me like a Queen and the boys treat me like a princess mommy! I love all my inlaws and my family. They all have been so supportive. My church friends are such dear close friends and I wouldnt trade any of them for anything. I love my life and the blessings Heavenly Father has blessed me with. I love My Heavenly Father so much and I love the life he has given me from Birth and for the love he has always shown me for even when I didnt know he was there!
I would also love comments from EVERYONE! I love hearing back to see if anyone is reading what I write. I'll keep everyone updated if they want, just let me know :)

- Lets start out by saying, now that I am 28 years old and getting older. Also, that I have battled the bulge since I was 5 years old and went on and off diets over the years. I am tired of being overweight and my genes have a way of bringing me back on my way to my highest weight. I am done with the heart ache of being looked at funny or just knowing I am fat. I dont think I took the easy way out, I did think that at first, believe me I did! But I took the Healthy way! I need to be healthy for my family and for me. I need to be around for a long time, watch my children grow and watch them marry and have children too. Life is a journey and I want to be in for the long haul. I love my Heavenly Father for all he has showed me and the route in life I have chosen because of him.

this is going to be really good for you.. and you deserve it.! you have givin so much. its time to give to yourself. i love you.! you are an amazing peron. and everything will go wonderful with your surgery.! and you will feel so much better about your self afterwards.! i love you so. and i really hope you get on here during your time in the hospital so i can see how you are doing. you are always in my prayers.! this really will help you live so much longer you do it for your two very young kids. well hope verything ge awsome.! have lot of fun.. hehehe

I hope that everything is going smoothly for you at this point. Having just went through surgery (of a different kind) myself, I hope that you will heal quickly & that you will have all the help & support you need. Congrats to you & good luck on the future pregnancy!
